Experience Through Their Eyes

This was my first time trying Savage Pizza & it was some of the best food I've had in a long time! Fresh, so flavorful and really great prices! The owner was working so hard & still had such a great attitude even being short staffed & not to mention working so hard during these freezing cold nights. I will definitely be returning!

The chicken riggies were fantastic. Seriously, some of, if not the BEST I've ever had. Packed with flavor and just incredible. The owner was very friendly, professional and told me "I'd be back". He was right I can't wait to try what else they have. Don't let the food truck vibe fool you this place is packing serious flavors and vibes.

The garlic knot Philly cheesesteak was amazing--soft, buttery, and packed with garlic flavor. The sandwich was hearty and satisfying, and the fries were hot and perfectly salted. A fun, delicious twist on a classic that's definitely worth ordering again.

I grew up in Stamford Connecticut which is essentially a suberb of NYC. Pizza and subs are distinctive and delicious. Not that I haven't had good similar food here, but the food at Savage Pizza had me enjoying my food as it was in 1965 before I left Stamford and embarked on my life of living in multiple places around the world. The food is special and I recommend it wholeheartedly. John, the proprietor, and his cook Carlos, are Brooklyn friendly and I look forward to returning again and again.
